Mark and I are looking forward to The Gilliatt Family Reunion and to reconnecting with family members we have not seen for a very long time.  Thank you Cheri, Diane, Lynne, and others for all the time and effort you put into the planning.  I know we will all have a blast.

We live in Saratoga Springs, home of the oldest thoroughbred racetrack, historic healing springs, and distinctive Victorian architecture. Our population doubles for the six weeks of summer horse racing and international private jets swarm our skies during the Fasig Tipton Yearling Auctions where bloodlines can bring prices up to four million dollars for a single yearling.

Kathy:

Now that I am no longer working in the Mayor’s office, I work part time at a wellness pharmacy focusing on functional medicine.  I learn something new every day and really enjoy the work.  I’m a serious gardener of vegetables, fruits, and flowers and have fun swapping perennials with family and friends.  Have enjoyed my reading group for 18 years and though I prefer non-fiction, would love to hear your recommendations for QUALITY fiction.  Church work keeps me busy, and I enjoy biking, beading, healthy cooking, and most of all, spending time with our engaging four grandchildren, Elliott, Jack, Lily, and Dahlia, who are a very lively bunch.

Mark:

After two years of forced retirement from retail, Mark is now employed at the Target Distribution Center.  Although the work is physically demanding, it has resulted in surprising personal health benefits.  Mark likes helping family and neighbors with all kinds of home projects and is a master recycler. He supports me in all my gardening plans by providing the muscle and the hard-scape ingenuity. He is active in our church and enjoys watching Yankee and Phillies baseball, reading history and political thrillers, baking bread and biscotti, grilling with smoke, caring for our sweet 13-year old Golden Retriever, Molly, and tending our 370 acre tree farm in the Adirondacks.
